WHO IS TRINITY RIO?

TRINITY RIO™ is an up and coming Tex-Mex Honky Tonk'n Band straight out of Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas! Their passion for the Texas Music Scene can be heard in their covers and original music with influences that include a wide range of iconic Country, Tejano, Conjunto and Ranchero music icons.

TRINITY RIO™ features an awesome trio of voices with Sergio "SURGE" Palacios on Accordion & Guitar, Israel "BIG-TEX" Saavedra on the Guitarron (Mexican Bass), Felipe "FILL-UP" Diaz on Fiddle & Guitar with Omar Mireles on Drums. 

TRINITY RIO™ es una banda emergente de música Tex-Mex con influencias Honky Tonk, originaria de Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Su pasión por la música tejana se refleja en sus versiones y composiciones originales, con influencias de una amplia gama de íconos de la música Country, Tejano, Conjunto y Ranchera. TRINITY RIO™ cuenta con un impresionante trío de voces: Sergio "SURGE" Palacios en el acordeón y la guitarra, Israel "BIG-TEX" Saavedra en el guitarrón (bajo mexicano), Felipe "FILL-UP" Diaz en el violín y la guitarra, y Omar Mireles en la batería.

As former mariachi musicians who performed together with MARIACHI DE ORO out of Fort Worth for several years, the guys have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the mariachi music genre. During these years it was evident that the guys were not only great mariachi musicians but they also discovered that they were each also passionate about Country & Tejano music. In 2023 they would get a chance to try something they'ed always dreamed and started a country band with a Tex-Mex flare. They named their band TRINITY RIO™ to represent their Dallas - Fort Worth Heritage.

Como ex-músicos de mariachi que actuaron juntos con  MARIACHI DE ORO de Fort Worth durante varios años, estos músicos han compartido escenario con algunos de los nombres más importantes del género de la música mariachi. Durante esos años, quedó claro que no solo eran excelentes músicos de mariachi, sino que también compartían una gran pasión por la música country y tejana. En 2023, tuvieron la oportunidad de hacer realidad un sueño y formaron una banda de música country con un toque tex-mex. Llamaron a su banda TRINITY RIO™ para representar sus raíces en Dallas-Fort Worth.
